FICTION: We are seeking quality short fiction of all types. Fiction can be a maximum of 5,000 words but remember that Internet readers prefer shorter pieces. We do NOT want sexually explicit or graphically violent stories. Profanity must be kept to a minimum and must be relevant to the story line. NON-FICTION: We like well rounded articles that represent both sides of an issue. It must be well researched and references must check out. May be between 200-1000 words. Please query with subject before submitting. COLUMNS: We love humor columns. We also are looking for political, opinion and personal essays. POETRY: We accept poetry of any kind as long as it is original and not explicit in any way. Max 40 lines. INTERVIEWS: We have a spot for a Q & A interview. If you have a particular person in mind, please query. We are looking for interesting folks to talk to. REVIEWS: Please send us your reviews of books, movies or music. Please keep it between 100-350 words. No query necessary. Currently, there is no pay for submissions. You will, however, have your name and work visible for many subscribers and readers to see. We are looking for sponsors and advertisers and hope to soon offer a small payment for submissions. All submissions must be sent to miscramblings@jeannibrosius.com and MUST contain Submission in the subject line. All accepted work will be displayed for one month and remain the sole property of the author. All fiction MUST be submitted within the body of an e-mail. All works must be original, completely those of the submitting author and free of any copyright restrictions. We will contact you whether we choose to publish your work or not. Good luck!
